Dear Lee It gives me great pleasure to write this letter. Please feel free to

for the beautiful music you and the Silver Moon Big Band provided for our 40th
Anniversary party in St Helena. Dancing under the stars was heavenly as you
could see from the number of people who took to the dance floor. I had a "ball"
dancing with so many of our guests to the classics of the big band era. Not
only was the eleven-piece band wonderful, but you were amazingly of the party's
tempo, playing quietly during dinner. You were also wonderfully co-operative

I am so glad to have received this email even though Jen and I are on the east
coast. Please keep me on your email list. As it turns out, I have been meaning
to write you for well over a year to thank you personally for the wonderful
music you and your band provided for Jen's and my wedding. It's been a while
since our wedding, so I'll understand if you don't remember performing for us.
To refresh your memory, our wedding was on August 30, 2003, at Auberge du Soleil,
and your band played a terrific rendition of Georgia on My Mind for our parting
dance. I'm embarrassed that I'm only now writing, particularly because Jen and
I were so very impressed with the wonderful music. Indeed, your music certainly
stands out in our memories as one of the highlights of our day. Your band has
such a dignified quality about it -- it definitely has a presence and yet you
are so respectfully unassuming. Again, thanks so much to you and the rest of
the members of Silver Moon Band. Jen and I will try to attend a gig of yours
when we're out in California again!
